Crochet Fest

This weekend Dani came to Austin for a girly visit and some crochet.  Lucky for me she is a patient teacher.  I did not truly know how to crochet before this weekend.  A while back, I brought Stitch 'n Bitch Crochet and had managed to make a small chain, that was a bit too tight.  But now, after a weekend with Dani, I have a lovely chain that's about 2 feet long with 3 rows of single crochet. Yay!  And best of all, I can still do it, even now that she's gone home.  I plan on crocheting (is that real word?) next week while we're at the beach.  I'm very excited about this new craft!  Especially, that I can do it while sitting on the couch and watching a movie!
