My name is Lia.
I'm married to Lee.
Together- we're Lee & Lia.
We know.
It's funny.
I'm a mama to two wild-n-wooly boys, Ben and Max.
I'm also a 2nd grade teacher.
We live in the amazingly beautiful city of Austin, Texas.
I've been learning to sew for about a year and a half.
I'm not a perfectionist.
I am a procrastinator.
I'm an only child.
I'm very good at sharing.
I get jealous.
A lot.
It's my highest form of flattery.
I have a sailor's mouth.
I collect vintage tea pots & lunchboxes.
I hope to write a children's book someday.
I don't like to read directions.
I do like to read fiction.
The procrastinating and dislike of directions get in the way of all my sewing ambition.
The books do, too.
I sit too much- you know, sewing or reading.
I used to be a dancer- the ballet/ tap kind.
I'm working on it again.
I'd like to be a better photographer.
I'm learning to crochet.
From a book.
With directions.
It's not going so well.
I'm a great judge of character.
I'm not a liar.
I like to share my opinion.
I'm not religious.
I am spiritual.
I believe in wishes.
I used to say that "wishing and worrying" were my religion.
I try to focus on the wishing part, though, and not so much on the worrying part.
I can't commit to a favorite color, flower, book, movie, or song.
I love too many of them.
I have lots of wonderful and talented friends that I love, too.
I am often jealous of their talents.
Luckily, they inspire me.
And support me.
And so does my hubby.
And so do many of you.
